About Me

Judith Greenwood
The dance of light across the landscape is a continual delight and catalyst for my paintings. Working in acrylic, generally on canvas board, or sometimes on 100% rag museum board, I paint the Colorado landscape. The evening and early morning hours show me strong patterns, chiaroscuro, fascinating skies - it is irresistible!! . . . I paint en plein air once in a while, but prefer to look, sketch and take photographs outdoors and leave painting for the studio. . . Be in the Natural World and Enjoy It in Your Own Way, too, Judith Greenwood
